12 Austrian students stayed in Brighton for a period of 4 weeks to have their internship in local companies and improve their English in a language course.

“This whole exchange programme is a great experience in life! I think you should have done it once in your life. At first, everyone was worried about their host family, but I can definitely say that there is nothing you have to worry about. Everything is going to be fine in the end. I love my host mother! She is so friendly and lovely!
At first I was really struggling with the situation that I’m staying alone at the host family, but I once I have met the host mother all these personal struggles were blown away. The food she is making is really nice and delicious.
Also I was scared about the work placement. It was just such a waste of time to be scared because the work placement also couldn’t be any better. I have improved my English so much because everybody talks as much with me as they can. And if I don’t understand something they explain it to me. The English was also really nice, especially John! He explains everything that everybody understands what he is talking about.
Brighton is a beautiful and lovely city. The first time you see it, you are going to fall in love with it. Also there is so much to do. There are so many places you can visit.
If I have a choice to do it again, I would definitely do it! It was such a great experience!”
