Last week, our CEO Raja Ali as a Chairman of Portsmouth Bangladesh Business Association together with Portsmouth City Council, University of Portsmouth and the local entrepreneurs visited several cities in Bangladesh during the official Trade Mission.

On arrival in Dhaka, the delegation met the head of trade at the British High Commission and board members of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce in Bangladesh. During the visit, Portsmouth City Council leader, Councillor Gerald Vernon-Jackson signed a sister city agreement with Sylhet.

The visit has been a success, as many new cooperation opportunities have opened for Portsmouth and its companies!

Chairman of the PBBA, Raja Ali, said: ‘This will further enhance the relationship between the cities and bring tremendous economic benefits from the memorandum of understandings signed with numerous chambers of commerce and business associations.’
